DIY Fibreglass Pool Kits
Aquatime Pools offers DIY fibreglass pool kits for customers who already have a qualified builder or are working with one to complete their installation. We supply the pool shell, essential fittings, specifications and supporting equipment, giving you a flexible way to manage your own pool project while still choosing from Aquatime’s range of premium fibreglass pools.
Before You Choose a DIY Pool
Three things you’ll need to have in place before you order a DIY pool kit.
Qualified Builder
A valid QBCC builder’s licence is required, either held by the customer where applicable or by the builder carrying out the work.
Correct Installation
The pool must be installed according to the supplied specifications and relevant standards to protect the structural warranty.

DIY Pool Kit FAQs
What is included in an Aquatime DIY pool kit?
Every kit includes a fibreglass pool shell in your chosen colour, freight to your site, a skimmer box, pool returns, a hydrostatic valve kit, full pool specifications, the pool shell structural warranty and manual cleaning equipment.
Do I need a builder for a DIY fibreglass pool?
Yes. A valid QBCC builder’s licence is required, either held by you where applicable or by the builder carrying out the work.
Is filtration included with the DIY pool kit?
No, filtration is separate. You can add our Small Filtration Package ($4,000*) or Large Filtration Package ($4,500*). Both include a pool pump, cartridge filter and salt chlorinator.
Is delivery included?
Yes. Freight to your site is included in every DIY pool kit.
Can I choose any pool colour?
Yes. Your pool shell can be made in any colour from our range. Browse the Colour Range to compare them.
Does the DIY pool shell include a structural warranty?
Yes. The kit includes the pool shell structural warranty. To keep it, the pool must be installed to the supplied specifications and relevant standards.

You do. Building approval and certification need to be organised through a private certifier before excavation.
